Dr Jo is an award-winning aesthetic doctor and GP with over 25 years’ medical experience. She specialises in advanced skincare and medical aesthetics, offering personalised treatments to support healthy, confident skin.

Dr Jo is a highly experienced medical doctor with over 25 years’ experience as a GP, having qualified from Liverpool University. Since 2012, she has specialised in medical aesthetics, developing a strong passion for skin health and helping people feel more confident in their own skin.

Jo works with a wide range of skin concerns, from active acne to the visible signs of ageing, and takes a considered, personalised approach to treatment. She focuses on recommending the most appropriate options for each individual, supporting healthy, natural-looking results.

She completed her aesthetics training with Professor Bob Khanna over 12 years ago and went on to open her own aesthetics clinic, Cosmetic Skin Care, in 2012. In 2019, she also founded The Skyn Gym, a dedicated skin clinic. Jo now runs both clinics alongside Nurse Lucy, an independent nurse prescriber who has worked closely with her for over five years.

Dr Jo’s work has been recognised with multiple awards from the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA). Most recently, in 2023, she won Best Patient Journey and was highly commended for Best Mid-Face Rejuvenation. Previous awards include Best Full Face Sculpting (2022), Highly Commended for Best Lip Sculpting (2022) and Best Lip Sculpting (2017).

Based in Windsor, Jo is delighted to bring her services to The Health Barn, having moved to the area a few years ago. Together with Lucy, she offers a range of treatments including chemical peels, advanced facials, microneedling and anti-wrinkle injections, treating all skin types and working with both men and women. They use and stock leading medical skincare brands, including AlumierMD and Obagi.
