Alex Duckitt

Sports Massage, Soft Tissue Therapy & Dry Needling

Alex is a Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist who trained at the University of Bath and works with a wide range of clients, from elite athletes to manual workers and those with desk-based lifestyles. With a background in competitive sport, Alex understands first-hand the importance of maintaining healthy, functional soft tissue to support efficient movement, performance and everyday comfort.

Alex takes a considered, individual approach to treatment, selecting techniques based on the person in front of her — whether the aim is deep relaxation, recovery support or addressing a specific injury or area of dysfunction. Her treatments are designed to support mobility, ease tension and encourage the body to move more freely and comfortably.

Alongside her sports massage training, Alex has completed a qualification in Nutrition for Physical Activity, deepening her understanding of how nutrition, exercise and rest work together to influence performance and recovery. She has also undertaken further training in Dry Needling, which she may incorporate where appropriate to support clients experiencing persistent tension or restricted range of movement.

Alex is passionate about adopting a holistic approach to health and wellbeing, recognising how interconnected the body’s systems are and how dysfunction in one area can affect another. By combining her knowledge across multiple disciplines, she aims to support long-term wellbeing and help clients feel more balanced, resilient and at ease in their bodies.
