Hi, I’m Oli — husband, father to two primary-aged boys, and companion to an ageing collie/kelpie. I’m passionate about how understanding the breath can help people feel more at home in their bodies and better resourced in their lives, and how movement, nature, and simple breathing practices support wellbeing and sustainable performance. I’ve been fortunate to live and work in the Lake District for 14 years, where my love of the outdoors, nature, and adventures big and small continues to grow.
As an Oxygen Advantage® Advanced Instructor, I bring together science-informed functional breathing and person-centred breathwork, drawing on training with Aria Breath and Alchemy of Breath. My work supports people seeking calm, clarity, resilience, and performance.
My path into this field comes from lived experience. After a career in sales across the commercial and third sectors — and more than a decade as an ultra-distance and fell runner — I experienced burnout that deeply affected my physical and mental health. Recovery has been, and continues to be, non-linear, but one constant throughout has been breathwork.
Becoming a parent also highlighted the importance of nervous-system regulation, sustainable energy, and simple, accessible practices that support everyday life.
Exploring breathwork more deeply showed me how powerful functional breathing and consistent, nervous-system-centred techniques can be.
I now work with people recovering from burnout, managing stress or anxiety, seeking deeper rest, or looking to improve performance — whether in sport, work, or daily life — as well as those wanting to reconnect with their bodies or build emotional and nervous-system resilience.
Rather than targeting specific groups, I focus on fit. I begin with a one-to-one conversation to ensure my approach aligns with each person’s needs, goals, and readiness. My role is to guide, support, and empower people to move forward, one breath at a time.
