Have you ever been stung in the big toe by a wasp? Hazel has. It was this incident that introduced her to the benefits of therapeutic touch to relieve the venomous symptoms, thus sparking off an interest in natural approaches to health.
For her degree, Hazel was drawn towards BSc Occupational Therapy (OT), which in its widest sense is concerned with an individual's ability to achieve, adapt and grow. She was particularly interested with how the climate dictates the rhythms of daily life, and her OT dissertation critiqued the eastern notion that we are interconnected with nature.
Aromatherapy is woven throughout Hazel’s treatments, using the natural benefits of essential oils to re-adjust mind and body, in response to seasonal changes and daily stresses. She holds a VTCT Diploma in Aromatherapy and is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists. Hazel enjoys sharing and learning, and is committed to Continual Professional Development, currently working towards a Diploma in Marma Massage. She is qualified in Tri-Dosha Ayurvedic Massage; a training programme which is accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists
Hazel hopes you will join her on a natural journey of well-being and experience the relaxing and rejuvenating benefits of her holistic therapy treatments.
